 Lincoln was formed in 1917 by Henry M Leland, formerly one of the founders
of Cadillac Motor Company. Originally they began primarily building
Aircraft engines for the US Air Force. After World War 1, Lincoln started
producing Luxury Automobiles. In 1922, Henry Ford bought out Lincoln because
it was in financial disarray, it would prove to be a huge turning point for
the struggling manufacturer. Ford's purchase of Lincoln was a huge triumph
for him, because it was Leland's group who forced him out of the second
company he was part of. Today Lincoln goes hand in hand with its sister
brand Mercury, and Lincoln offers several different models ranging from the
Aviator to the full size Navigator, along with the LS to the Town Car. With
