The Sport-Comp tachometer with Shift-Lite includes Auto Meter's "Dial-In-Exactness." This feature actually utilizes the tachometers fluorescent red pointer to indicate the chosen shift RPM. By depressing the "Push to Display" button the shift point RPM is indicated by the tach pointer. Then, by turning the "Shift-Set" knob, the pointer sweeps up or down until the preferred RPM is selected.
