| The DC Sports Twin-Canister Cat Back system was designed from the get go with a few a strict design. Parameters in mind. First it had to make power. We do this by using mandrel bent stainless steel tubing with a straight through design. Second it needed to meet the federal requirements for noise emissions and have a nice sporty exhaust note. We achieve that by using a resonator before the muffler similar to the stock exhaust and a straight through muffler packed with stainless steel wool and fiberglass. Third it had to be durable and with an aggressive look. That's why we use polished stainless steel throughout the exhaust right down to the 4" stainless steel tip. | |
Having the added advantage of being "50 state smog legal", the DC Sports Cat-Back Exhaust System is the perfect addition for the performance hungry enthusiast. Not only does the new Cat-Back Exhaust System offer a deep throaty sound, but it retains the stock catalytic converter. The DC Sports TCS incorporates the new Twin Core muffler. This new and distinctive muffler passes the exhaust through two seperate 4.5" round race style mufflers. By passing the exhaust gases through a B-pipe resonator and two mufflers DC was able to create a quiet, yet efficient exhaust system. With CNC machined flanges, CNC mandrel bent stainless steel tubing, 4" stainless steel slash cut tip and the Twin Core muffler, you get an awesome looking and sounding system. The DC Sports Cat-Back Exhaust System features mandrel bends for unrestricted flow, 16 gauge large diameter tubing and DC Sports' exclusive muffler core packing. All DC Sports exhaust systems come with a complete set of gaskets and installation hardware. Moreover, it uses the OEM mounting brackets for added security. This is all backed by a full two-year warranty covering workmanship and materials.
