Combo Platform #530 is a Universal transponder bypass (key required) + Upgradeable data bus door lock alarm interface solution. This solution is perfect for situations when an extra ignition key is available and you want an integrated databus doorlock solution with the universal transponder bypass. Platform #530 provides the integration of an upgradeable data bus door lock alarm solution with a key in the box transponder override solution. No dealer scan tool is required and everything you need is in one module.
The data bus interface functions include: Lock/Unlock, Driver Priority Unlock, Trunk, OEM Security Arm/Disarm, Panic, (-) Door/Trunk/Hood Trigger Output for aftermarket alarm and 2nd starter enable (Mux) . Select Dodge, Chrylser and Jeeps are equipped with a secondary starter and accessory circuit called the MUX wire which must be activated at start up. Platform#530 includes a MUX activation circuit in all applicable firmware solutions.
The Universal Transponder bypass function requires an operating ignition or valet key and bypasses the factory immobilizer system via RF induction using a loop antenna. The Universal transponder override section is compatible with most types of transponder immobilizers including both 1st and 2nd generation Chrysler Sentry transponder immobilizer systems. (transponder key NOT included)
